Director of Research and Innovation - Spoon

With degrees from INSA Lyon and Pierre and Marie Curie University in Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence, Ugo worked in software development before joining Shadow Robot Company in 2009 as a software engineer and later being Chief Technical Architect. In 2017, he joined Spoon.ai as Research Director. He is in charge of developing the Artificial Intelligence of SPooNies.

Passionate about the study of language, human-computer interaction, and collective intelligence, he strives to adapt cutting-edge research and technologies, and builds partnerships with experts in different fields in order to lead to substantial developments on SPooNies. In addition to his passion for Artificial Intelligence, he is an adept of remote work - which he has been practicing for more than 8 years - and of the organizational skills that result from it.
