KORIAN

KORIAN is the European leader in elderly care. Active in six European countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands), the Group has 803 establishments representing 78,000 beds. It welcomes 300,000 patients and residents with over 52,000 employees. Korian offers a range of adapted services for supporting seniors, according to their age, state of health and expectations. The Group's activities portfolio consists of:

  • Nursing homes for permanent or temporary care of the elderly who can no longer be cared for at home.

  • Specialized clinics whose purpose, following hospitalization or a pathological disease/disorder, is to provide temporary care (approximately 30 days) for physically dependent patients to reduce their physical disability and restore their autonomy so that they can return home.

  • Residential care facilities for autonomous seniors who wish to maintain social contact, break isolation and enjoy the conviviality of an open but secure shared space.

  • Home care networks covering home hospitalizations ("HAD") and home nursing services ("SSIAD"), which constitute an alternative to hospitalization by intervening in the patient's place of residence (home, nursing home or nursing home) with an aim to shorten or even avoid hospital stays. THE KORIAN FOUNDATION is a non-profit public interest organization whose main purpose is to foster and promote the social inclusion of all persons with a loss of autonomy, by enabling them, whatever their characteristics, age or disability, to be a fully-fledged member of the society and the organizations that they belong. To this end, THE KORIAN FOUNDATION takes the following actions:

o    It participates in applied research activities and carries out studies in the human and social sciences concerning loss of autonomy and problems related to ageing and disability. It also defines innovative solutions and experiments to improve the quality of life.

o    By all means, it carries out events, prevention and communication actions on issues related to loss of autonomy; THE KORIAN FOUNDATION supports and sets up partnerships with other organizations developing similar or related activities.
